My role - Main product designer
Collaborators: Product manager, Front-end engineers
Launched in 2019
NX Cloud was a SaaS platform providing telecommunication services for companies with cross-border business. It was a brand-new platform in America that focused on growth. The clients could send messages to thousands of people in seconds via our platform.
The users wanted to send a message to thousands of their clients.

For example, if PG&E wants to send a message to a huge group of customers, they can use the NX Cloud SaaS platform to send it. The customers will get the messages on their mobile phones in just a few seconds.

For example, if De Anza College wants to send a message to their students, they can use this platform. The students will get the notification on their mobile phones.

The Problem
The users needed a tool or a platform to send a message to thousands of their clients.
Dashboard design iteration process
The first step is to sign up. We required potential clients to fill in a lot of information. We simplified the page to make it easier for potential clients to sign up.
Before
Required too much information

After
Only name and email required

We also added the Free Trial on the landing page and simplified it.
Only email is required.

In the beginning, we showed all our products on this page. The problem was that our customers would get confused. It showed too much information on one page. After brainstorming, we decided to simplify the page.
Before
Too complicated

After
Prioritizing Clarity and Usability

Benefits of the Redesign:
-
Increased User Engagement: The simplified UI made it easier for users to navigate and complete tasks, leading to a 22.5% increase in engagement.
-
Improved User Satisfaction: User feedback indicated a strong preference for the new UI, with comments praising its clarity and ease of use (based on 17 user interviews).
The features of the message page
We designed two pages for the SMS Message process.

After A/B testing
We chose the one-page layout for the SMS Massage.
